Today, a user of the website that I helped develop received its first piece of hate mail.  We have had people upset for one reason or another because our site doesn't act the way they think it should, but this one takes the cake.  I just have to put this out there for you all to read.  Actually, the guy sent 2 letters, and here is the first one complete with typos:

Your website is completely stupid and not a user friendly. there is no help available when needed. I suggest you guys should try to logon as a customer. I am extremely mad and angry and can not control my emotions,. There is NO stupid help!  I appreciate if some one calls me at XXX XXX XXXX. I will greatly appreciate, You may not believe me but i spend whole day first to get in to the site. I am trying to file and pay taxes HONESTLY AND STILL HAVING PROBLEM. Please have someone contact me!

Then 2 minutes later he sends this email with the subject of "THIS IS MOST STUPID WEBSITE":

Unbelievable in AMERICA. You guys should contact Osama Bin Laden. He will teach you most advance technology. Tell the person who designed this website to contact me!

HAHAHAHAHA I just can't stop laughing about this.  Turns out the guy isn't even on the right website.

I heard this on the radio this morning and had to pass it along.

Go here:  http://www.myspace.com/kelleyjosh

Listen to the "Lodi Dodi" song.  It's a Josh Kelley version of a Snoop Dogg rap.  It's hilarious.

So I have been going to alot of Cubs games recently.  Through a couple random circumstances, I went to 3 Cubs games in 8 days.  I saw them in Cincinnati with Leann and her church group 2 Saturdays ago.  They won 4-2 on a Michael Barrett grand slam, so that was exciting.  Then I saw them with my dad on Thursday where they lost 3-2, which was a pretty good game.  Finally, I went on Father's day with my dad, where they got pounded 12-3 and the opposing team had 8 home runs.  It was ridiculous.  The Cubs now have the 3rd worst record in the majors.  Yippee.

Leann and I went apartment shopping this past Saturday and we found a place we really liked, and we got put on the waiting list.  I'm really excited about it; I think it's going to be a really nice place to live!

Oops, it looks like I'm procrastinating.  I need to get back to work.

This past Saturday brought some excitement.  Leann has a long list of things she wants to do before she dies, and one of the things on the list is to go skydiving.  I have always wanted to go skydiving also, so I got us both signed up to go skydiving for her birthday, which was in March.  Well, it just so happens that it was SNOWING in March, so we didn't get to go then.  I rescheduled it for this past Saturday, thinking the weather would be better.  It turned out to be a beautiful day.

We showed up at 11:45.  I was expecting a small, grassroots type organization, but it turned out to be much bigger than that.  There were about 50 people in front of us in line to jump!  There was a large youth group there that made up most of the group.  It wasn't until around 3:30 that we actually got to jump.  They took us up to 12,000 feet (we were jumping tandem with an instructor) and then it came time to jump.  I am not sure how long the freefall lasted, but it was somewhere between 30 seconds and 1 minute.  On the ride down, I had my instructor do some spins, which basically causes you to become parallel with the ground, and it kind of feels like you are freefalling again.  It was a nice, gentle landing right back where we started.  I had a blast!

Leann didn't have as much fun as I did, but I'll let her tell that story, if you're interested.  We also got a dvd of our adventure.  I negotiated a good price for it.  Maybe I will figure out how to upload it to google video.  I haven't checked what format they burned the dvd in, though, so I don't know how I'll need to convert it.  I also need to edit out a part... does anyone know of a good freeware program for video editing?

In other news, we booked our honeymoon.  We will be travelling to the Bucuti resort in Aruba.  If you don't know, Aruba is way down by South America, near Venezuela, so it is out of the hurricane belt. (We are getting married during hurricane season.)  We will be there for 9 days, 8 nights.  Needless to say, I'm looking forward to it!

Ran the mini this weekend with Leann.  Or should I say walked the mini.  We only ran for about 1/3 of it and we didn't train at all.  So needless to say we are very sore.  We sat around all last night and watched TV.  Today we went to a marriage class at my church.  We talked about communication and how there are 5 ways of ending a disagreement: withdraw, yield, win, compromise, or resolve.  It was a pretty interesting conversation.  Then we came back to my apartment and gave it some much needed cleaning.  Aaron, a guy who works with my roommates, is moving in today to take the room vacated by Jeremy Jones.  We'll see how that goes.  At least we have someone to split the rent with once again.  $816 a month split 4 ways is pretty dirt cheap.  Sorry for not using paragraphs.  I'm lazy.
